Our story

Far from home, the prayer corner is home.

It might be a shelf in a Toronto apartment, a room in a house in New Jersey, or a corner of a flat in London. Wherever our families settle, a small mandir or a prayer room comes with them, and someone looks after it every day.

अनघ (Anagha) is Sanskrit for pure, without blemish. We made ANAGHA for that daily care, with the fragrances you remember from the temple and the gurdwara: sandalwood and camphor after aarti, rose and the clean calm of the gurdwara hall.

Made in New Delhi and shipped to your door, with our wishes for sukh, shanti and samriddhi: happiness, peace and prosperity.

From New Delhi, with blessings

Wherever you've built your life, the prayer corner comes too

A shelf in a Brampton apartment, a pooja room in Edison, a gurdwara corner in Southall, a quiet altar in Sydney. ANAGHA is made for the homes our families have built around the world, and for anyone who keeps a calm corner: a home altar, a meditation nook or a yoga space.

The daily ritual

Spray · Wipe · Pray

01

Spray

Mist two or three sprays onto a soft cloth, never directly on murtis, photos or sacred texts.

02

Wipe

Clean shelves, floors, railings and the space around the asan. The mist lifts dust and residue.

03

Pray

Light your diya or agarbatti. The room is clean, and it smells like the mandir or the gurdwara.

Questions

Before you order

What exactly is ANAGHA?

A water-based cleansing mist made for prayer spaces. You spray it onto a cloth and wipe the mandir, pooja ghar, prayer room or gurdwara surfaces. It lifts dust and leaves a traditional fragrance: sandalwood and camphor in Shuddhi, rose and neem in Sewa.

Why do families clean the mandir before Diwali?

In Hindu tradition, Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, is welcomed into homes that are clean, bright and fragrant. In the days before Dhanteras and Diwali, families clean the house and the mandir, light diyas and draw rangoli at the door. Shuddhi makes that care part of everyday prayer, not just a once-a-year task.

Can I spray it on murtis, photos or near the Guru Granth Sahib?

No. Always spray onto a cloth first, never directly on murtis, framed photos or pooja items. Never use it on or near the Palki Sahib, rumalas or any Gurbani text. It is for floors, shelves, railings and the surfaces around your prayer space.

Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

We ship from New Delhi to United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands. Ships from New Delhi within 2 business days, then tracked delivery in 7–14 business days. Shipping is included in the price, and you get a tracking number by email.

Will my parcel arrive before Diwali or Gurpurab?

Diwali is on 8 November and Gurpurab (Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Prakash Purab) is on 24 November 2026. Orders placed by 7 November have the best chance of arriving before Gurpurab. Because international delivery takes 7–14 business days, we can't guarantee a date. For a last-minute gift, ask us about faster express shipping.

I'm not Hindu or Sikh. Is ANAGHA for me?

Yes. Anyone who keeps a calm corner at home can use it: a home altar, a meditation nook, a yoga space or a shelf of candles and keepsakes. Spray it onto a cloth, wipe, and enjoy the gentle sandalwood or rose fragrance.

Do I have to pay customs or import tax?

Some countries charge import duty or tax on parcels from abroad. We declare every parcel accurately. If your country's customs charges anything, the carrier collects it at delivery. Contact us before ordering if you want an estimate for your country.

Is it safe on marble and wood?

It is a gentle, water-based formula, but natural stone, polished wood, painted idols and antique pieces can react differently. Spot-test on a hidden area first, and wipe dry after cleaning.

How do I pay?

By debit or credit card on our payment partner's secure page. Place your order, and your order page shows how to pay: a card payment link from Payoneer, or PayPal checkout when it's available. We never see or store your card number.

Can temples, gurdwaras or shops buy in bulk?

Yes. We supply larger quantities for temple and gurdwara committees, community centres and Indian grocery stores. Send us a message with your city and rough quantity.

Sukh, shanti, samriddhi.

Happiness, peace and prosperity to your home.
